Returns

Please note that all returned items will be put in quarantine for 72 hours after arrival at our facilities to follow Covid-19 safety guidelines and will thus take longer than usual to be processed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, we offer a 28 day refund or exchange policy with a FREE returns service. Please note that monogrammed items cannot be returned.

For Holidays, our return policy is extended until January 20th.

2. Visit www.ups.com to arrange a collection or take your return to your local UPS drop off point along with the return label included within your order. 

3. Affix the labels included in your package to the outside of the parcel.

Refunds

We will process your refund or exchange (when in stock) as soon as possible and an email will be sent to confirm your return has been processed. Exchanges for the same item will be sent to the same delivery address, however if you would like your item sent to a different address please specify this in your email to us. If you would like to exchange for a different item, the original order will be refunded and a new order will need to be placed, we are very happy to place the new order over the phone, you can reach us on +44 (0) 207 730 94 11.

Personalised products are any products which have been personalized/customized/tailored/monogrammed to your specifications. These products (when delivered as described and in good condition) cannot be cancelled, exchanged or returned after the order has been placed.

The customer is held responsible for any customer generated mistakes:

wrong selection of colour

wrong appearance of colour

wrong order quantity

typographical errors in spelling (initials)

Problems with a bespoke order must be reported to [email protected] within 14 days of receipt. If any mistakes were made to the bespoke order on behalf of DeMellier, these would be rectified free of charge. When confirming your bespoke order, please verify carefully each detail to avoid any issues stated above.

Taxes & Customs

Prices on the website are shown inclusive of UK VAT. If your shipping address is outside the EU then VAT tax will be deducted from your order in the shopping bag page. For orders to US, Canada, Switzerland, China & Hong Kong, Australia, Mexico, South Africa, India and Japan the price of the item is inclusive of duties and taxes. To all other countries outside of the EU we ship on a DDU basis (Delivery Duty Unpaid). This means the recipient will be liable for any local sales taxes or import duties which may be charged on the purchase.

We are unable to advise the amount, as they change from country to country depending on local imports legislation. Occasionally goods may be subject to delays, due to customs or extreme weather conditions. The customer is also responsible for providing any information required by customs to ensure the goods are cleared.
Please be aware that if any items shipped are rejected and returned to DeMellier (if the recipient is not willing to pay the applicable local taxes/ import duties, the delivery address is wrong or there is no one to accept the package) we are unable to refund original shipping charges, custom charges or any return/rejection charges incurred by DeMellier. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions related to shipping to your country.

Insurance

DeMellier insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until delivery. A signature is required for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes on to you. If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes (e.g. gifts) then you accept their signature as evidence of delivery and transfer all liability over to them.
