At DeMellier we put the safety of our customers and of our teams first, so we are carefully following local government guidelines and even anticipated them in some of our locations. The headquarters team located in London have been working from home since March 16th and we have asked our factory located in Spain to close until further notice as of March 20th.


Our warehouse remains open as it’s distributing key essential items such as COVID-19 testing kits for hospitals and individuals among other items. All surfaces at our warehouse are sanitised very regularly, staff work 2 meters apart from each other, and all hygienic measures advised by the government are being followed.


The World Health Organisation has stated that it is safe to receive parcels and we follow scrupulously all WHO and local government guidelines.
Our online store is operating as normal, with free shipping & returns worldwide.

Yes, all indications are that the carrier network remains operational with only few reported service disruptions as the worldwide movement of freight is being compromised by reduced aircraft availability and reduction in capacity due to temporary restrictions in the affected areas, meaning that depending on locations, your order may take slightly longer to reach you.

We offer free worldwide shipping and returns on both full priced and sale items.

DeMellier bags are also sold in selected department stores around the world such as Le Bon Marche in Paris, Lane Crawford in Hong Kong & China, Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, David Jones in Australia. However, please do check the status of each retail locations with the relevant Department Store before going as because of COVID-19 some of the above locations might also be closed for now.

In order to reduce the possibility of transmission at the point of delivery, it is the policy of all our carriers to no longer obtain signature upon delivery. Instead, the courier will leave the item at the door and will step aside after knocking to ensure there is a safe distance while your customer retrieves the parcel. The driver will then ask for the recipient’s surname and will not obtain a signature, to prevent transmission of the Coronavirus through handheld scanners.

Our logistics partner in the UK is also helping shipping COVID-19 test kits for free across the UK, in collaboration with the Royal Mail efforts.

When an item is on pre-order it will always specify a delivery time e.g. Delivery in February / Delivery in 2-3 weeks. This means the item is currently being produced and will be shipped to you the moment we receive it.

Yes. If you have a gift code it can be used both online and at our central London studio-store.

We offer free worldwide shipping and returns on both full priced and sale items.

DeMellier insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until delivery. A signature is required for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes on to you.

Yes, your confirmation email will provide you with a tracking number that will allow you to track your order via the relevant courier company.

We offer a lifetime repair service. This service is completely free for 12 months after purchase, after which you will only be asked to pay for shipment to and from our factory if you are unable to drop & collect the item from our central London studio-store. Prices on the website are shown inclusive of UK VAT. If your shipping address is outside the EU then VAT tax will be deducted from your order in the shopping bag page. For orders to US, Canada & Switzerland the price of the item is inclusive of duties and taxes. To all other countries outside of the EU we ship on a DDU basis (Delivery Duty Unpaid). Personalisation
